The college started functioning during the Academic year 2002-2003 getting direction from University of Calicut and on the basis of the order of the affiliation to this college by the University of Calicut.
A well arranged Library with 5450 Books are provided with a seating capacity of 50. Every Year 250 New Books will be added to the library. Books are in General Education, Educational psychology, Educational philosophy and for General Reading Sufficient books are purchased for Methods of Teaching in five optional subjects.
